I have been paid!

This morning I was up at half seven, after only five hours of sleep. Straight downstairs and onto the computer; I checked my bank account and just over £1700 has been paid in.

This is kind of old news on Planet Kelza but I got my list of Semester One set texts last week and it is frightening. Just as long as I'd expected, yes, and with a heckload of additional reading to go with it... the scary part is just how I'm going to afford it all. Here's what my first semester requires...

I've been back from town about half an hour - maybe more, I'm not too sure. After my illness on Thursday/Friday I decided to go in and tie up a few loose ends, submit stories that were done but not submitted, gather up my things and say a last goodbye to the colleagues.

I've taken to keeping a to-do list at work on the little clippy board thing on my desk at work. It's a list of every article I've been given to work on.

So this morning I came in to work and the first thing I did was 'refresh' my list - write out a new one, keeping all the items I was still working on, adding new jobs, leaving off the ones I've ( Read more... )
